Our story
In 2007, we purchased this beautiful 10-acre parcel in Salmon Arm from a local family who, when we were growing up here, used to grow strawberries for the community. Our dream was to bring this special piece of land back to life as a working farm.
We sold our home, put everything we owned into storage, and spent a month travelling through Italy. While we were there, we fell in love with the country—the food, the wine, the culture, and especially the way of life. Our dream quickly evolved into creating our own little piece of Italy right here in Salmon Arm, and that is exactly what we set out to do.
We started by planting three acres of Saskatoon berries. I began making jams from our berries and selling them at local markets. Over the years, that little venture grew into a variety of farm-made products, which we now proudly sell in our very own Off the Farm Shoppe.
Next came a large vegetable garden, which quickly became the heart of the farm.
In 2022, we added a greenhouse and planted a peach orchard, continuing to grow and evolve our farm with each season. Today, we are well known for our beautiful fall mums, as well as our spring hanging baskets and bedding plants, which we grow and sell throughout the season.
Today, we welcome guests to slow down, relax, explore the farm, and enjoy everything we have created here. What began as a dream to bring this land back to life has grown into a place we are incredibly proud to share with our community and with visitors from around the world.
